Today I Cried Over a Cow

December 3, 2013

3 Dec

Compelling new observations prove that cows may suffer some resemblance of the morning sickness that pregnant women experience……….. They’re not all happy endings…..

April 11, 2013

Jesusita~to say she’s a favorite would be an understatement! Never is life and death more evident then on the farm. When you become the caretaker of animals, you take on all responsibilities good and bad. In a way I feel it is a little like playing God and yet never is it more apparent that […]

Taking a deep breath…

March 4, 2013

4 Mar

Our wonderful small town joined the ranks of cities with a shooting story last week. You can view the whole story here, but we are all definitely thankful this situation wasn’t worse then it could have been. My mother-in-law works at the nursery directly across from the RV park and heard the first shot and […]

So I am a  little late like always on catching the hype train, and it seems like every last person but me has already blogged about this topic, but I am still impressed and influenced by last weekend. Another small group of heifer calves to register that are looking for their names. Must be the year of the bulls, and out of the ordinary we have one bull for you to name this round. Reminder that the first letter must match the mother’s names below. For the bull first letter much match and preferably end in Man. For example this family has already had a Lawman and other bull names over the years include - Mountianman, Fireman, Jaeger, VIP, Sergeant, Verdict, Monument, Sputnik. So give me your best for: SplurgeLocoGinaLoretta (needs a name beginning with G)LuluMae - Bull ... See MoreSee Less
